Japathon

Jay Shree Swaminarayan. As per the instructions and guidance of Sheeji Maharaj, Mantralekhan (writing of the Mahamantra) is considered to be an Uttam form of Bhakti. SKSS Temple, Bolton have arranged a Japathon on Saturday 20th April 2013 at 6.15pm. The target is to collectively write the mantra 40,000 times in the lead up to the Shree Swaminarayan Mahotsav (40th Anniversary of the Temple). It is also Ramnavmi & Swaminarayan Jayanti on this day, so the Punya to perform Mantralekhan on this auspicious day will be considerably more. Satsangis of all ages are welcome to join in…DON’T MISS OUT!

Lord Shree Ramchandraji’s Aarti will take place after the morning sabha at 10am.

Aarti of Lord Swaminarayan’s pragatya will take place after the Japathon at 7.15pm

The late 60's and early 70's saw the steady flow of people from the region of Kutch, Gujarat migrating and settling in the United Kingdom.  Times were tough in India and with the blessings of the saints of Bhuj they came to the UK in their droves to seek a better life for themselves and their families. The appeal of a prosperous new start led many to the industrial hub of the northwest of England with its cotton/manufacturing industry booming.
