It may seem like years ago now since we celebrated our 40th anniversary but its memory lives on with the Balloon release which took place evidenced by the following email

Subject: Balloon from Celebrations 2nd-8th September 2013
I thought it may be of interest to you that I was walking in the hills on the Scottish island Jura recently on Friday 18th April (Good Friday), when I found a balloon marked with Shree Kutch Swaminarayan Mahotsav 1973-2013.
I have googled your temple and I can see that you had extensive celebrations during 2nd-8th September last year to mark 40 years of the existence of the temple. I'm assuming that balloons were released as part of the celebrations & I thought you may be interested to know how far one of them travelled! I found it on the way down from the third hill I had climbed that day (one of the three known as 'The Paps of Jura'), which is called Beinn a' Chaolais.
